Maternal Health Care refers to the healthcare of women before and during pregnancy, during childbirth, and during the postnatal period.

Maternal Health Care refers to the healthcare of women before and during pregnancy, during childbirth, and during the postnatal period. Poor access to health facilities and other health related services have contributed to the high rates of maternal and infant morbidity and mortality.

LHF aims at greatly increasing the survival rate of women during pregnancy and childbirth. We are also committed to improving the survival rate of infants and children during their first 5 years of life.

In order to achieve these objectives, LHF has gone into partnerships and alliances and have also done a test run of some of its projects. Here are some of them.
