School Food Program
Providing one meal a day to students in school will boost attendance. Parents will send their children to school knowing that they will get food to eat. Also, the children will look forward to going to school so they can have a good meal. It allows the kids to focus on their studies rather than on their stomachs.
School Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Program
Building separate toilets for boys and girls encourages more girls to attend schools. It also helps in reducing sanitation related diseases, providing a cleaner and safer environment for the students. Building boreholes in schools will give students access to clean water and better hygiene.
Classroom Furniture Program
Some schools have no classroom furniture. Having desks, chairs, blackboards and other classroom furniture makes learning more fun for the students, and creates an enriched environment.
